QUALIFICATIONS:Valid Michigan driverand#8217;s licenseExperience in rehabilitation and/or behavioral programming is preferredExperience with small acre farming, four season farming, vegetable production and managementExperience with large or small hoop housesExperience with growing flowersExperience with small acre farming equipment (i.e walk behind tractors, rototillers, etc.)RESPONSIBILITIES:Management of acres of farmingManagement of one greenhouseLiaison to multiple Accessible Hoop Houses, including St. Joseph and PromedicaWork with clients symptomology of TBI and Mental Health to educate them on farming, gardening, and other vocational skills to maintain our farm production.Ensure that clientsand#8217; immediate needs for safety are practiced. Assist clients in a manner that fosters independent functioning and promotes customer satisfaction on the part of the client, family, funders, and employer.Maintain an appropriate, respectful, and professional relationship with clients.Support team decisions consistently and respond with appropriate interventions as described in clientsand#8217; service plans and protocols.Maintain client supervision levels in the community and on campus.Monitor and document client productivity, participation and performance on CTAPs, weekly and monthly reports.Act as a liaison between community-based employers and Enrichment Center Manager (MEC) in terms of scheduling and other outpatient client or employer needs, reporting issues to the Enrichment Center Manager promptly.Use Vocational Training Program to assist Outpatient Clients.Work in tandem with clients and staff to complete activities at the Enrichment Center.Instruct and supervise clients in learning skills such as metal working, ceramics, woodworking, animal care and horticulture.Responsible for ensuring that clients are at their job sites on time and returned to the facility on time.
