Assistant Instructor/Instructor Fixed Term
The Department of Integrative Biology (IBIO) is seeking fixed term Assistant Instructors to teach four online courses this coming summer session US2021. Applicants interested in any of the positions should indicate their preference in their cover letter. The courses are (1) IBIO 150: From DNA to Populations (offered during Summer A; 5/17/21-7/1/21), (2) IBIO 355: Ecology (offered during Summer A; 5/17/21-7/1/21), and (3) IBIO 355: Ecology (offered during Summer B; 7/6/21-8/19/21), and (4) IBIO 368 : Zoo Animal Bio & Conserv (offered during Summer B; 7/6/21-8/19/21). Appointment and pay for Summer A will be from May 15, 2021 – June 30, 2021 and the appointment and pay for Summer B will be from July 1, 2021 – August 15, 2021. This position may be subject to the provisions of the collective bargaining unit for the Union for Non-tenure Track Teaching (UNTF). Assistant Instructor (Bachelor's degree)
Successful candidates are expected to have completed, or be near completion of a PhD in a field related to the course content. Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching similar courses online.
