Henry Ford Health System Clinical Research Assistant- Full time w/ benefits Center for Health Services Research- Detroit Location in Detroit, Michigan

Under the supervision of the investigator(s) and research coordinator, and following established policies and procedures, performs a variety of clinical research activities, and participates in carrying out research objectives, ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory and protocol guidelines. Provides technical support to the investigator(s) and research coordinator, and serves as a liaison between the institution and the sponsor. Researches literature in the field.

Preferred Skills- Medical Assistant course can be utilized in this position. Prefer candidates with Phlebotomy certification/experience (blood drawing skills/experience). Excellent communication skills. Will be assisting with the recruitment for the All of Us Research Project and will interact with participants in-person and over the phone. Ability to work collaboratively with large group of staff involved with this project. Some weekend hours are required.


  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. Completion of Medical Assistant course can be utilized in this position.

  • A Bachelors degree can be utilized in this position.

  • Two to three years of relevant experience.

  • Requires a working knowledge of computer applications.

  • A working knowledge of research methodology, medical terminology preferred.
