More information about NSF International can be found at nsf.org.DescriptionThe Senior Director, Global Laboratories will lead the NSF global laboratory operations across NSF International. The Sr. Director will ensure the efficiency and scalability of the technical and commercial laboratory operations to support the NSF mission, strategy and goals. The Sr. Director will ensure stability of laboratory operations, ensure talent needs are meeting operational expectations, ensure operations meet or exceed revenue objectives, and service levels are meeting or exceeding customer requirements. The Sr. Director, Global Laboratories reports to the Executive Vice President Chief Technology Officer and is a member of the Health Sciences leadership team.Key Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:•Lead the global laboratory operations provide the highest level of scientific testing and assessment in the chemistry, micro-biology and engineering labs. Ensure quality, delivery, and cost requirements are met, and lab operations meet expected revenue targets for NSF.•Lead the development and implementation of the global laboratories strategy aligned with the NSF strategy and mission, supporting business results and growth strategies of the organization. Develop long and short term goals and objectives to achieve the global strategy.•Lead the global teams responsible for laboratory operations, ensuring policies and procedures are in place for high quality full lifecycle testing. Procedures include ensuring client samples are received through proper transportation methods, product samples are tracked, samples are stored to avoid damage or contamination, samples are safely moved within the facility, testing follows NSF standards, and extra samples are stored for retest or returned to the customer based on contract.•Ensure collaboration of the lab and certification groups for common messaging and explanation of test results to the customer. Ensure a final technical review is completed for any product that fails to meet testing requirements. Guide, consult and make recommendations to the senior leaders in laboratory operations and technical issues.•Lead initiatives to identify and establish new lab services and grow lab operations and revenue across global laboratories, located in all regions: North America, Latin America, Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific (EMEA) and China.•Develop a culture of engaged, high performing, developed and accountable talent to support the organization. Ensure teams are empowered to meet and exceed goals through performance management, leadership development, and business acumen. Attract and retain the best talent through effective recruiting, coaching and mentoring.•Develop and manage budgets for the global laboratories with leaders of each laboratory. Present budgets, impact, positioning, deliverables, resources, etc, ensuring alignment of budgets and expected revenue with the business divisions.•Define expectations for standardization and localization to ensure successful integration of laboratory operations in all domestic and global locations
